Torremar Olives
The Quest for Local, High-Quality Produce
Since 1846, Jerónimo de San Nicolás, the company’s founder, has been searching for the best olives for his pickles: the Sevillana, Arahal, Manzanilla, and Gordal varieties.
The finest olives, combined with the traditional methods passed down through three generations and a commitment to constant innovation, have enabled this family of artisans to bring their products and Seville olives to markets around the world.
Ever since its founder took the first steps, four generations of table olive producers have guarded the secret of the brine that ranks Torremar olives among the best in the world.
Torremar Olives, located in Torrevieja, Alicante, is a family-owned business where tradition and innovation come together to create a product of the highest quality. They incorporate new seasoning formulas and ingredients and offer their products in a wide variety of formats.
The olives they use are certified by the Regulatory Council for Manzanilla and Gordal Olives of Seville.
The Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) for Manzanilla and Gordal Olives of Seville is a European-level quality mark that protects an agricultural or food product closely linked to a specific geographical area. Any packaging of these olives labeled as PGI Manzanilla de Sevilla or PGI Gordal de Sevilla guarantees that these olives originate from Seville and have been produced under specific quality standards.
